46428: More progress on the brake beams.

The stub ends have been weld prepped and the initial positioning welds have been done on the first beam. The welds will be built up to fill in the void between the beam

ends and the stub at either end. 

 

Also on the boiler trolley (ex coach bogie). All the metal work which is surplus to requirements has been removed to be scrapped. We've salvaged many valuable BSW nuts

and bolts. Very expensive to buy. We're making progress. See pics below. Watch this space.
