Dear Supporter,

                                     To celebrate the restoration to steam after thirty three years work, the Directors  of the Bury Steam Locomotive Company Ltd. would like to invite all our Supporters and their partners who are Share Holders, Bury Standard 4 Group members or donors of funds for the engine, to a celebration train ride with us on Saturday 2nd March 2019.

Our loco 80097 will be hauling coaches along the full ELR line throughout the day. Refreshments will be available.

Please Note:  this will be a private, invited supporters only train and will not be available to members of the public.

Reception will be at the East Lancashire Railway’s FXP meeting room, on platform 2, at the Bury (Bolton Street) station. (Inside the big gates next to the ‘Trackside’ pub).

Our train will leave Bury at:                1005,               1100,               1250,               1355,               1530

Please RSVP to this invitation by Wednesday 27th February to enable us to cater for this event.     If possible, please give an indication of the time you intend to arrive at Bury.
