THE BURY STANDARD 4 GROUP NEEDS YOU!

We are looking for a volunteer Treasurer/Finance Director to assist in managing the finances of the Bury Steam Locomotive Co. Limited, and associated Bury Standard 4 Group.

Do you have the necessary skills, time and desire to play an important part in this wonderful group, helping to support the overhaul of Ivatt Class 2 No. 46428 and the maintenance of Standard class 4 No. 80097?

Ideally suited to someone with bookkeeping experience and familiar with QuickBooks and FreeAgent.

To find out more, please email petermduncan162@outlook.com putting the words ‘BSL Co Treasurer/Finance Director’ in the Subject line.

80097 joined the East lancashire Railway's loco fleet following her inaugural Supporters train launch in March 2019. She is now regularly rostered in the ELR schedules and is a favourite on the ELR Footplate Experience (FXP) days.

Our fund raising must continue to enable us to pay off the large loan we took out for the major boiler rebuild and also go towards ongoing maintenance of the loco. Now that we have started work on the restoration of our Ivatt loco, 46428, monies will also be required to enable progress to continue on that project.

Become a supporter, join us as a member, buy shares in the loco company, give a donation, visit and purchase an item from our Shop coach, either for yourself or a friend, or volunteer to help at our base in Bury on the East Lancashire Railway.
