80097 Boiler Static Test

 Our loco 80097 passed its hydraulic boiler test today, to the satisfaction of our boiler inspector Andy Wright. 

 

This involved pressurising the boiler to 300 psi - 50% above normal working pressure.

 

We will now commence refitting her valves and controls in preparation for the steam test.
