Bury Steam Loco Co AGM 2024 | Shop Opening Update

Friday, 5th April, 2024

Great news on the Standard 4 Tank. Large tubes have been refitted and tightened up. They are now ready for our specialist boiler technician to carry out expanding at the smoke box end and peigning over at the firebox end. Preparation for hydraulic testing will follow. We are hoping for a re-assembly of components and a return to traffic sometime over the summer. Watch this space.
