Our boiler has passed its steam test at Northern Steam Engineering in Stockton on Tees on Thursday 7th September.

 

This significant step, after nearly three years of rebuilding, now means that we should see the boiler back at our workshop in Bury in the next two weeks.

 

The final stage of the restoration of 80097 can then proceed, with our aim being to have her running on the East Lancs Railway in 2018.
